A: Personal Help from God

1. Psalm 9: 9,10 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.

2. Psalm 23:1-4 The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. He makes me lie down in green pastures,he leads me beside quiet waters, he restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness forhis name's sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,I fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.

3. Psalm 91:1,2 He(or she) who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the
shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, "He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust."

4. Psalm 91:14-15 "Because he loves me," says the Lord, "I will rescue him; I will
protect him, for he acknowledges my name. He will call upon me, and I will answer him
I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honour him.

B: God's Passion for Justice

1. Psalm 45: In your majesty ride forth victoriously on behalf of truth, humility and righteousness:let your right hand display awesome deeds.

2. Isaiah 42: 1,4 "Here is my servant, whom I uphold, my chosen one in whom I delight; I will put my Spirit on him and he will bring justice to the nations."
"He will not falter or be discouraged till he establishes justice on earth. In his law the islands will put their hope."
