History

PANIC’s HISTORY- HOW IT STARTED   PANIC had a number of beginnings but this PANIC (Positive Answers Needed In Crisis) came about due to a need for a balanced, informative group. One important factor that brought about the birth of the group was the importance to not go in blindly, to gain as much information as possible and to insure that no further damage is done to the family or any other family in the process of its work.

PANIC individual team members, could see that many families were left confused, unsupported and with little information as to how to solve problems. Many of PANICS support team are people who have worked with families or have been successful in following the complaints process. Many have other qualifications that add to a pool of information and resources. PANIC was formed by these people who came together with a common concern and that was that many social workers worked with their own agendas, did lie and in some cases were completely unprofessional. Some saw far to often good families, even caregivers be treated terribly due to false allegations. (Proven false) With so many identified concerns and no where for families, caregivers and other organisations or professionals to turn to PANIC was formed to full this void.

PANIC works without ego. It was formed to work as a team to best offer a wide range of skills. PANIC team came together because it believes strongly that not only identifying problems but helping find solutions is an important factor this formed the foundation of its conception.
