Feedback
Hi Angie I would just like to Thank you and your team for all the amazing help you have given towards my children and I over the last couple of years. All my courts are over for now and I hope I never have to go down that road again And yes I got nearly everything I was aiming for And thats the full care of my 4 girls and I ended up letting my son stay with his papa until he is 16 and can have his say what he is wanting in life.
Without your team I dont think I could of handled my situation. So once again Thank you all so much.

I believe I speak for all people, whanau, families, tamariki , children who have used FCIS - we feel the same about this organisation and I speak from heart when I say " If I hadn't found the support from FCIS I am not sure where I would be right now." - FCIS advocates have given me the strength to carry on, helped me get better outcomes and given me ideas and coping strategies. I thank you and my deepest gratitude.

Well thanks to SASHA BLACKWELL things are starting to look up for me. If it wasn't for Panic I don't no were I would b maybe still in the same stressed out place not knowing what way to go. Still a lot to do but with the help from this wonderful group and the people on this site I can start to see the light at the end of this long dark tunnel. THANKS SO MUCH PANIC

Can I just say a big thank you to PANIC and the team for giving me the correct support and guidance. I have never had this before. Thank you once again for keeping me on the right track.

I just didn’t realise just how much I could help myself over the girl’s case, until I started reading these links that Angie sent me. But I will still run things past her before I do anything. My complaint to the ombudsman has got things cracking though, especially as Angie said, they have clearly linked Cyfs into the case, Go Angie, and PANIC. I am going to learn and be useful to you when I finished fighting my battle, one at a time at the moment, and mine first. I can’t thank you both enough for giving me some of the tools to help myself.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I want to thank you for your feedback about my case. After I read it, it made me humble. I suppose we can write a long list of the many wrongs that Cyfs create but when I look at my nephew I fall in love with him. I couldn't help feeling like a caregiver due to my circumstances, but thanks for the reminder! I've requested to put paper work on hold until next year in January 2013. My rental property being sold and need to relocate quickly before Xmas. Haven't receive a reply from my Social worker, but it's pointless for me to sign the paper work if I'm going to be homeless? Thanks again!
Thank you for all of your help, you ladies really know your stuff, the resources you provided were very helpful. I found you're ideas refreshing and new, it’s wonderful to have a "outside look" on a situation that’s non-judgemental. I found confidence in what was said and belief that the situation could be changed. Thank you again for the advice. Anon please
To Whom it May Concern
I would like to recommend the services of the PANIC (Positive Answers Needed in Crisis) to anybody who has concerns over how they or their children are being treated or misled by Cyfs, Open Home Foundation, or any other organisation concerning the uplifting of Children.
I had 3 young children in my care, who were uplifted when I got a one off infection (as my doctor put it).
I really felt so alone and was at a complete loss as to where I could get the help I needed, I tried several local organisations, who all agreed I had been treated appallingly, but was getting absolutely nowhere until it was recommended that I look up PANIC to see if they could help me. I saw a lot of situations like mine, and some much worse and the ladies I dealt with at PANIC took that feeling away. It was so good to feel like I was helping myself also
In my experience, they gave me a specific worker, who, at the start, when I was in a mess held my hand, and then worked with me and taught me where to find the positive answers I needed when I felt it was all getting on top of me.
They showed me how to help myself, and I now have one of the children returned to me and it is looking promising for the other 2 to return home shortly.
I owe them a debt of gratitude as my grandchildren are precious to me, and can never be replaced and by teaching me how to help myself get them home, I will always thank them.
I would recommend them to anyone who needs help with organisations and their children.
Thanks so much PANIC for your support and understanding over the years. If it hadn't of been for the fantastic support in dealing with CYFS and the latest battle I had over XXXXXXXXXX I would never have gotten through. One thing I can say for 100% certainty is that CONFIDENTIALITY is held as top priority. There is NO threats of going public with private information, No naming & shaming threats and definitely No Blackmail like a couple of other sites I could name. Thank you again for your FANTASTIC Support. I have No hesitation in recommending PANIC to anyone in need.
Major thank you PANIC for your support to help me to get my own file from CYF and your kind words, you guys are doing an amazing job!!!!
HI panic I had to let you know that my case was discharge today in court and I would like to thank the staff of panic that this has been a rocky road at first but now I have my daughter settle with my moko and if wasn't for panic then..
I would like to give a big thank you to JaJa, Lovelee Leigh, Ange and all the others for their support.. Finally some understanding.. Much respect to u all xx
Hi Lovelee Leigh (Mum) I want to thank you and Ange for your advice and support over the last couple of years. I have the final FGC coming up next week and the SW has offered me 100% custody, now we just need to sort out how her access with her son will go. She failed the last drug test and won’t tell CYF where she is living. Thank you!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank you PANIC for giving me the tools to help others, without using the PANIC name I was able to sort my daughters access to her girls, as this was not be adhered to by the Cyfs social worker. I used what you have taught me and working with the site manager have her access to what was agreed in court. Many Thanks PANIC
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
thank you so much Ange. Your info has helped me a lot. I only wish I had heard 2 years ago what rights I have. I’m 1 day new to this page. Thank you thank you thank you!
Panic page has helped me through part of my journey and I’m very thankful for all the support Lovelee Leigh and Angie ..8/05The FGC went better than I thought. We have a plan in place and both going to do courses etc. and the kids are going into my parents care and going to be reviewed in 6 months to see if we are better off or not wouldn't have known half of what to do to put in place if it wasn't for PANIC and that had a big part to play in the outcome. So thank you 16/05/13 Leah Trass has been a great support and through her advice I am able to get a chance to raise my baby as she gave me some awesome ideas that when I put them to CYFS they were totally speechless and have since put in writing that as long as I do 1 week in mother-craft unit at Waikato Hospital once baby (who is a little girl with the name of XXXXXX) is born they will step back and monitor for a while if all goes well they will close their file. So to Leah and the team a BIG THANK YOU HUGS AND KISSES for helping me get a chance to be a mum looking forward to having the pitter patter of tiny feet in house now with less stress from CYFS makes me a lot happier. Once again THANK YOU SO MUCH from my heart for allowing me to experience motherhood.
Well I wish u luck XXX over the next 6 months with your study, courses, visiting Kingston and Isaac and your journey a head of u, guna b different and will miss the friend I had for a while, things will only get better so stay focused & remember the lectures I told u to keep u on the straight and narrow. Yes we made mistakes but nobody is perfect and as much as a lot was said by Cyfs and other peoples untrue notifications was unfair, but we didn’t stop fighting for our boys. Thanks for the support as u were apart of building my case along with PANIC (Positive Answers Needed in Crisis) and also family and friends. Only the close knows how hard we worked and gathered up evidence and completed courses etc...A very corrupt case, But we are lucky to bring our boys home within the year...We had some tough times money wise but we helped each other & we never missed a visit something to be proud of despite the number of visits taken from us. Remember to focus on yourself & achieve the goals u have as u are smarter than u think sometimes so don’t let anyone get in your way....I look back now and see how little support u got, & for us to be told by a family member while visiting your grandparents was un called for especially 10 months later was hurtful for both of us, So this is your road now! Get out there and show who’s mum and independent! Take care girl...
was in care when I was young cause of my parent’s mistakes.. I got pregnant made the wrong choice of listening to them and trusting them until I realised they were going to uplift my son from me within seconds of giving birth so I started not listening to them and doing what I thought was right it stressed me out bad to the point I was getting bleeding during my pregnancy everyone I thought I could trust I couldn’t for example midwife doctor counsellor and even some family.. but I didn’t give up I came close to giving my baby up but that wouldn’t do anything and I loved my baby too much.. then I got hold of Graeme Axford he told me to get hold of Julie Whitehouse and she helped me find a place with a lovely family to live with Ange and her awesome family that helped me learn soo much and help me fight Cyfs to keep my baby I grew such a great bond with all of them Ange and Sarah hunter were in the room with me when I was in labour and gave birth if they weren’t there with me I wouldn’t have coped at all after I had him I was terrified that Cyfs would come get my son and take him from me but they didn’t thanks to Ange and her family and the PANIC team so I believe that if it wasn’t for every single one of these people I’ve mentioned in this are the reason why I still have my son and I don’t know what I can do to repay them and say thanks but there is nothing you can do to say thanks that’ll equal what they’ve all done for me and my son.. that’s my story.. there is more but it’s very long.. once again thanks everyone.
Hi PANIC team, where do I begin??? Thank you so much for all you have done for us... It has been a long journey, and a tiresome one at times.. With your support and encouragement we MADE IT!!! This has been a long time coming, but finally we get our new life.. PANIC was there for us when I had all but given up hope of ever being rid of the system. On July 5th 2013 we had family issues with our teenage daughter, therefore CYFS were involved. My husband and I have never dealt with CYFS before and immediately were very concerned our family was in jeopardy of being split up. On July 7th our niece informed us of an organisation called P.A.N.I.C who help and support families like ours who are dealing with CYFS. Contact was made immediately, our advocate was Angie .
We had our fears and concerns during our time with CYFS and PANIC was there to make sure we were fully informed of our rights and guided us in the right direction in our times of need. Honestly if PANIC wasn't behind us during this trying time we may have lost our fight for our daughter. Angie was our angel who picked us up in our times of need and the page on Facebook made us feel like we weren't alone in our fight. I would recommend PANIC to anyone who is or are going through what we have as they have been an immense help to us and our family. Thank you PANIC for all the support and guidance, we will forever love you all for helping us save our family.
